Part from that hiccup there, I think the layout should be more central and could process the pictures more, maybe centralise some, crop some etc.. but setting off on a good foot.

i will just state what i notice:

im not sure about all that purple. it could work, but at the moment i would say it is a bit bland
on my browser (firefox) all the content on the homepage is on the left, i think it would be better in the middle
why dont some of the pics have large versions linked? (eg the goodwood americano pics and the merc world pics)
the about me page has practically nothing on it. i would personally put more on there so that more people can relate to you (i guess that is probably tricky for someone of your age, but i would still try and put more)

generally it is good, the pics also look very good, and keep working on it.

You may able to learn some about putting together the site by finding some others you like and then having a go at making something based on them. Not sure if you have any web page editing software (looks like you may be using Frontpage) but most of these can take a copy of an existing page which you can then use as a template to work on.

Not suggesting you blatantly plagiarise, but sites have evolved over the years to a stage where some common ways of laying them out and doing navigation have emerged. These tend to be the ones which work best and visitors are also used to them so find their way around easily.

I don't know the balance of interest between your photography and the web-site itself, but those are just thoughts on how you could take it forward.

I think you're doing a cracking job on the photos!

Sorry to sound negative but....

I don't like the scrolling text at the top. It's annoying when looking at the pictures.
Also, I don't like scrolling to see the full picture. I usually end up right-clicking and choosing view image in firefox.

You may be better using gallery or simpleviewer so that can sort things out for you.

There are some good pictures on your site, but I'm confused as to why the first picture on the Mercedes Benz World album is a row of Porsches?
