Lightswitch only turning sidelights on, not headlights?!

Hello all.

Has anyone come accross this on their Cerb. Flick the lights on to the first notch and the sidelights come on... then on the the next notch and the headlights don't come on. Main beam comes on and stay's on as per normal.

Any idea where the electrical screwup is? Fuse is fine, bulbs are fine and theres plenty of power from the alternator/battery.

Has only recently developed this problem.

Checked the relays? Try pushing them all back into the fuse board. Do you get a clicking from the relays when you turn the lights on? You should. If you do, then the problem is either the high current feed to the relays, or is downstream of them.

Burnt out connections in one of the two lighting control boxes that sit above the tank is an old favourite.

Yup..... would be my guess too.... happened to both of em mine.
