Daft question, for 996 is it just a case of nearest halfords?

They are not clearing properly and they rattle at 98mph - 100 mph, just the 2mph band, its like an alarm, reminds me of top gear taking that 612 to the alps.

You're sh1ting me!!!

Wow. I bought a new set a few months ago (almost always change at the end of the summer as all the heating and cooling seems to ness the rubber about and cause them to clean less effectively) and i'm sure i spent a few pennies short of £20 at Hfrauds

I think there may be some mis-information out there. £42 for a 996 C4 accoring to the Porsche service pricing book in front of me.

My 996 c4s passenger side one is curved - can i still get those at halfords etc, or is it a special Porsche OPC tube of KY moment for a new one ?

Mine were £15.32 from the OPC after 10% PCGB discount. Although mine were for a boxster, they are exactly the same as those for the 996 (stated on the invoice).

They are much better than the Bosch ones (I had these last time) which are not curved.

Perhaps the £42 included the OPC fitting them! rolleyes

Yip £17.02 for 2 front wipers from Edinburgh OPC.
It was the £21.32 for the 1 bck wiper that got me.

Still cheaper than halfords all in, plus I managed a coke, coffee & 2 bits of shortbread in the time he took to get them.

He said it took so long as he had to double check the price " seems to cheap " was his quote..

You should have got the GT2 or GT3 part, much cheaper IIRC.

You might want to bring some KY along so the fitting doesn't hurt too much...
