Really good to see everyone last night - I was very impressed so many wedges turned up - was a great sight.

Great pub, beer and food.

The drive home was not much fun, had to scrape ice of the inside at carpark, and roads were slippery as hell !!!!

My heater works (but also in summer.......), so minus degrees not an issue and roof down all the time (even if the rain is not too heavy!). And scraping ice from the inside is a wedge standard as well, and the looks you get of people walking past makes it even more 'enjoyable'.

A few winter ago Pebbledash and I travelled down to a D&C bash in his Griff.
It was -14degC when he picked me up at my house

It was so cold the boot wouldn't shut (it did eventually, after much cussing and thumping).
On the motorway the engine temp dropped to the point we got almost no heat in the cockpit.
After two hours of driving the frost hadn't melted anywhere, not even the bonnet. The hand prints on the boot were still there recording our attempts to shut it earlier.

I was in skiing salopettes, a down jacket plus two fleeces.
I looked like the Michellin man.
I was still flipping cold!

I was driving yesterday with the top down while it was snowing! Hopefully I have redeemed my decidedly namby-pamby behaviour in November when I had a bad cold.

Luckily the heater packs a good punch so it's not too cold unless you go over the tun.
