Head for the hills with TVR Power
April's French Riviera tour fills up
TVR Power has announced that spaces are running out for its upcoming driving adventures.
French Riviera: 18 - 25 April 2007
With 18 cars booked on this trip, only eight spaces are left. Cars booked so far represent nearly all variants of modern day TVR, a Lamborghini Gallardo, two Aston Martin DB7s and a Porsche 911.
For full details of this tour (including one of Driving Adventures' all time favourite roads -- said to be better than the Route Napoleon -- can be found, see link below.
Lakes / Pennines / Southern Scotland: 1 - 3 June 2007
This tour follows what TVR Power called "the overwhelming success of last year's May weekend jaunt through the Lake District and Southern Scotland". On this tour, back by popular demand, only a short time will be spent in the popular Lake District -- it will be very busy in June.
Most of Saturday afternoon will be spent exploring open and far less frequented roads of the Pennines before heading up to a country manor hotel in Southern Scotland. The Sunday morning route is 20 miles longer than last year's and includes a Carvery pub lunch.
Also for this year, there is an optional Friday night stay in a very grand hotel outside Stratford upon Avon. This will also suit those travelling from afar so you don't have to get up at crazy o'clock to make the Saturday morning meet point.
You can also use the same satnav systems used by the organisers' lead and support vehicles with the entire daily routes fully pre-programmed into them.
Germany and Austria: September 2007
TVR Power plans to release full details of this tour in February.
The tours are organised by Driving Adventures.
