I notice that the difference in fluid level when cold (minumum) differs to when just turned off (max). The manual doesn't state which reading to take, clearly there is a big diffrence.

My audi manual always says when warm ie just switched off, but it isn't an Audi clearly.

Anyone confirm ?

Fill it to the 'MAX' level when hot. As long as it doesn't go below the minimum level hot or cold, it doesn't matter.

Andy jb,the level changes because as the oil heats up it expands,so dont overfill for obvious reasons, good luck.
