Right had enought of playing around with my Exhaust and myself and my brother are in need to information on the best exhaust to get that will get us on trackdays without problems

I have a 26" long wunoff that is 6" wide. always seems to be too loud and even wunoff say they have had problems trying to get them to be quiet.

Right what do others have that are repackable, quiet, may have baffles and is idea for the Supercat?

suggestions, prices and tel or links if possible

thanks

Have you repacked it recently? That can make a huge difference. I've got a micron race can on mine, but it is fairly loud.

I got mine from Simpsons. Not cheap, but a bespoke build and great quality. It is pretty tame, but looks great, although their customer facing skills need work!

I have a Custom Chrome repackable can on my Super6, and it recently passed the SVA noise test with no probs at all, so I assume it's reasonably quiet (in relative terms!)

I fitted a raceco silencer to my westfield a few months ago as the standard one was getting to be a problem on trackdays, it was noticably quieter after but still had a great sound to it (unfortunately I havent been noise tested since so cant give any figures) The raceco one looks fantastic and is very well made but cost a bomb.

I bought a Custom Chrome box for my LSIS - however, it cracked around the base at the front during the first 300 miles - which I welded up and then sold the car. When I next saw it a couple of months later, the back section had cracked.

Not sure why it happened; the previous exhaust (which wasn't stainless) didn't crack in the 5000 miles that I drove it (although I did use a bigger bobbin which may have been a bit more restrictive, I suppose).

strange that most people I know have good results with wunoff..

Ive got a 7" techcraft and is 96 db on a westy Busa.. previously Had a 6" wunoff that was for some reason quieter at 95db..my pal runs a 6" wunoff on his Vx red top powered westy and that is 93db.. only cost £200 plus vat and imo well made..

tracks are getting stricter and im looking into getting the induction noise down banghead

For most track days now, if you have a bec you're going to need 7 inches and as much length as you can muster..........

Otherwise its an early bath.Speaking from experience, used to run a CBS 6 incher and nearly got thrown out by a few operatore for being too noisy.

Induction noise can also be nearly as loud, so watch that side of it too.
