Has anyone fitted the Jordan R alloys from ACT. Would 17 front and 18 rear affect the handling or just make it a firmer ride?
They do look the mutts!!

Yes those are the ones! The link i posted worked when i previewed it, strange things computers!
I like both sets but think the Jordan R's look a little different. Had a couple of mates over last night, we decided the Jordan's were the best. Am undecided tonight!
I used to be indecisive, now i'm not so sure!!

Still prefer the top ones. The SP12 wheels also look good, am waiting to get a package price on them. That Daddy, i thought you said multi lug wheels look cheap, aren't the bottom ones multi lugs?

Price them all up even the Griff wheels you spoke of and talk to owners and ask for their views

I'm not sure that they do the Jordan R in anthracite. They do an XT7 which looks like it is in anthracite. This is the ACT website.
www.actproducts.co.uk/
Just got prices for all the tyre packages i am looking at including delivery.
Refurbed Estorils inluding part worn tyres £550
New Jordan R with new tyres £1080.
New SP12's with new tyres, £1118 with 225 rears or £1280 with 245 rears.
Opinions eagerly awaited. Thanks.

Devil, I run 18" on the rear and 17" on the front if anything it has made the car feel much better, slightly firmer ride, but it updates the look of the car and gets loads more rubber on the ground on the rear.

They look fantastic - what wheel are they and how much?

They look great chaps. Out of interest, how do those lower than low profile tyres affect the handling/ride (given that the Chim's designed to run on beach buggy tyres)?

Tim's prices are usually pretty good, so if you fancy something else other than what he currently does, why not ask how much he can get hold of it for you? If he can get Jordan-Rs, the chances are he can get any Team Dynamics wheel that takes your fancy.

Steve.

Not too sure about this, but I'm considering a set of Jordan R's from ACT, when the time is right. I'd love a set of XT7s. IIRC they are lighter than both the Spiders and SP12s.

XT7s won't be available in 4 stud TVR fitment, unless we order 20 sets. a shame as they are proper motorsport wheels, they are also almost twice the price £995 (RRP £1240 set) so can't image i would easily shift 20 sets for Chimaera/ Griff.

Because these wheels are the nuts! I spent a whole year pondering on the tyre problems and new wheels. Thought deeply about the technomagnesio wheels, but the SP12's are made for the Chimaera and fit perfectly. The lower profile is much harder, but with adjustable shocks this no prob.

Buy..ENJOY! Recommend Silverstone performance. Great guys.
