Anybody know who does anything at all with these cars?? A pal of mine has just bought an ex- Le Mans race car and needs to make contact with anyone who works/tunes or modifies such cars. He's emailed the factory several times but has yet to receive a reply!! Any help you could offer would be much appreciated!! Thanks thumbup

BTW, I know it's not strictly in the correct section, but I think I'd have a far better chance asking you guys!!

I am sure Mike Pullen has worked on these. I can check with him in the morning as I am seeing him (I was seeing him Wednesday but had to cancel)

Hey Jonny hows things? How was your trip away?

Regards the Venturi, i cant help you with your question but i just wanted to say how much i loved these cars. I have many pictures of them from shows. The favourite being the dark blue with white 5 spoke wheels. Best part about them was they had Recaro A8's inside, an awesome seat!!!!

I remember also not that long ago seeing a camouflage coloured one for sale in the UK.

Enjow and good luck

Matthew

I owned a black one for just over a year, was looked after by a mates race company. They are very simple cars to be honest, lightened balanced renault V6, couple of big turbos, mine had motec engine management so laptop control, everything else was off the shelf really. Only hassle was taking off the carbon brakes (pure carbon race brakes... don't try using them on road, when they are cold they don't work at all!) and putting steel one on, but AP came through with the good.

I had it for a while......good track car.

Sprayed it Black in the end......then got shot of.

The full carbon brakes don't work on the road at all....need two laps of the track covering the brakes before they work at all!!

How do I unload pics?

Doesn't help in the slightest, but there is a guy who lives near me who parks his silver Venturi on the streets! They're a rare beast, so to see one parked on the street almost every day is a nice treat.

You could try www.oselli.com they used to be Venturi dealers and I beleive look after a few. They also regularly have Venturi cars for sale. Hope this helps and good luck with car, T.

We saw them race as a support race at Le Mans back in '93. There was a major shunt and quite a few were dragged off and dumped in the Maison Blanche campsite - it was a bit quieter back then

I've got a wing mirror from this one in the garage thumbup

Not seen one on the road but sounded great on track

Pullicino's had a silver one for a while which I drove. Bald tyres, no tax or fuel..the usual, but good fun none the less!

Nick Mee @ www.nicholasmee.co.uk used to be the importer for Venturi in the UK a few years ago - he may still have a lead on who to deal with?

Yes they do, based in Monaco apparently! Not too good at replying to emails though
