I have just returned my paper licence for a photocard (change of address) I was quite impressed by the speed of response, it was back with me in about a week. Hypothetically speaking if they had transcribed a handwritten SP30 which occured in 2006 to printed form on the new licence reading as 2005, would it mean the points would come off my licence a year earlier ?

Given all the arguments about entitlements...you'd think so. Obviously you might not remember when it was you got done, hypothetically, and you've only got their word for it...
