I was wondering what the proportion might be of people who buy a TVR and when the time comes to replace it get another?

Or whether the majority have one for the experience and move to something else?

I'm on my second.

I have had 3 (Griff, Tuscan, Tuscan MkII S) and have half a Sagaris at the factory.....there's nothing quite like them in my opinion.

I bought a nearly new 350i in the late '80s and bought a new Griffith 500 in 1997 which I still own. Am currently contemplating buying one of the last new Sagaris left in dealer stock which I would intend to keep for several years. Have absolutely no interest whatsoever in owning any other brand of sports car this side of a Lamborghini Murcielago or Aston Martin Vanquish, neither of which are in my price range. Nothing, but nothing, holds the same fascination for me as a TVR.

I've always been a bit of an easy target for a fast car, been fortunate and had a decent selection in the past. I never relly gave TVR a second thought previously and considered them plastic kits made for hooligans.....how right I was...Bloody Marvelous they are too... thumbup
I'm now on my first, as it's a Cerbera cloud9 anything else would be a backward step hehe , might get one of those old Chimnea thingys soon too, for wifey.

On my 4th;
Griff 4.3
Griff 5.0
Tuscan standard 4.0
And now a Sagaris.

Each one just gets better, an more expensive to run.

Even managed to get a mate out of his 911 and into a Cerbera.

On my 7th : 280i, 390se, 3 Griff 500's, Cerbera and Tuscan. All of them have been a mixture of frustration and huge fun nothing really comes close at the price.

Just the one and am well and truly smitten! Thought about chopping the Griff in for newer straight six models, but nothing beats the sound of a big V8.

Bought my first in 1978, now got a Chim and a 3000M and have had eight in total. They just get better.

bow

On my first one. Have had it three years and can't see it being changed for a very long time. Can't think of a single reason why I would want to.

May at some point get another one, probably an M or earlier.
