From time to time threads are posted bemoaning the candle power of the standard chim headlights. There's then usually a few suggested mods for improvement and some debate over whether the suggested mods will cause your car to catch fire. - But I don't remember hearing any suggestion of fitting auxilliary driving lights.

Now I'm not suggesting that anyone rush out and bracket two up and 2 down Cibie BiOscars on the front of their P & J, but how about some discrete supplimentary projector type lamps?.

Provided they're small and discrete, they shouldn't impact too much on engine cooling.

Any thoughts or suggestions or will the road vehicle lighting regulations preclude them being fitted so low?.
