Well this post is really just an update.
Ive had the keys to the Chimaera now for 1 month.
to the day.
After the alarm/immob set back was sorted
, I have had nothing but FUN with it.
Just over 1000 miles done
so far, How much fun???
The buzz of driving down country lanes , and esp the overtaking of other motors is FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC.
The power, the looks esp with the top down
, 1 bad thing I have done is where i have lowered the roof i creased the screen

and now have a couple of pin holes

.
But im big enough to live with them ( it's garaged at night and the SUMMER'S on the way
).
So if your around Beds and Bucks and see/hear me coming
, just like the Tuscan on the way to Silverstone and the red Griff in Towcester Sat and the silver Chim in Hockclife.
So that's been my month of drivin around Beds/Bucks and now gonna be branching out to othe areas
So hears to the 1st month
and many many others.
P.s
If you deciding to buy a Chimaera........

Re: your rear window, one tip I heard (i think it was Rob Ingleby) was to put a rolled up towel or similar sausage shape in the fold as you put it down, helps stop kinks.

You summed it perfectly, thats what TVRing is all about for me, the pure fun and excitement from every aspect of the ownership!
I'm often around your neck of the woods, Beds - Leighton Buzzard/MK although I'm based in Herts so keep an eye out for a purple Chim!
Here's to the summer,
Chris
