What if, what's the best, what's your favourite, etc....It's compelling, like pub quiz questions...........

We're TVR ites, but if the marque never existed: What's your poison? Is there one that fills the gap?

Ferrari (too expensive),Porsche (too predictable),Lamborghini (too flash),Koenigsegg(can't spell it)

don't mistake me- I've got nothing to offer! I am stuffed for an answer. E-Type?

Send your answers to this forum, no strings attatched and I will NOT send you insurance offers, credit card advice or debt consolidation loans, because I'm a steel worker and I don't have the money.

By the way, I'm doing this for a laugh and out of interest- It's for fun, as forums such as this should be. We all like to answer these kind of questions....

Oooh,I like R32 Skylines, but they're vulgar.

A bench in a garage with an exhaustless V8 ticking over with my wet fingers plugged into the electricity socket

The only thing that could provide anywhere near the thrill of just being around TVR's Im affraid laugh

If TVR never existed I would probably be driving a Lotus Elise now. It was on my short list, but was never going to beat the Chimaera.

On a serious note, it would more than likely be a Scimitar with a tuned Rover V8 yes

Possibly a Weismann, or maybe a cobra replica..
I think the Ultima looks quite appealing in a mad way..
Maybe an 80's Porker 911 Turbo .. (sorry guys but the 70's and 80's models i think are quite cool and the turbo delivery is quite fun)

a good question... the Sebring International top model looks quite lairy tho not sure what its like to drive.

If i could afford one a Lamborghini Countach LP5000s is just mental to look at regardless how it is to drive.. (apologies to mention all these cars on a TVR forum)

But fortunately there are enough TVR's around to wet my whistle so to speak so i dont need to make this decision..

Ultima, Noble, Aero 8... all can be had with very low miles for £35K, or less.

Apart from those, at the moment the only other one I like is too expensive (too new). The new Marcos.

I shall probably try them all at some point. Life's too short not to try as much as you can. Can always return to the Cerb later if they don't measure up.

Noble, Marcos, Westfield Seight or for a laugh, a Boaler Wildcat, with of course the V8 500 motor under the bonnet.

I would probably be in an elise. But if the budget were larger then would be thinking M3 CSL or 911 GT3. Or if had the luxury of something completely impractical then Caterham or Ultima.

Not an alternative to a TVR road car -so slightly O/T , but one of my racing icons , not a particularly successfull race car , but one of the most handsome Touring Car's that ever graced the racing circuit cool cool and cool again..

Money permitting an Aston V8, DB9 or Vanquish. In reality a Honda S2000, AC Cobra replica, Triumph stag, E type, Jaguar XKR or Ferrari 308. If i could get in and out of one comfortably possibly and elise or exige.

Like the Jag, but this is just an excuse for me to post a really cool picture of one of the legendary 'Batmobile' racers of the seventies.

Oh yesh.
