If your looking at the electrical part on the pipe the top one, with the wiring plug is the ecu temperature sender, the bottom one with the thin pipe with coiled wire round is the temp. guage transmitter, by the way dont cut, snap flatten or damage this pipe, its a sealed unit with the temp. guage.

These are (as TVR called them)the coolant manifolds, you might be able to get original mild steel ones from a TVR dealer / specialist, or we supply them in stainless.
Can't say I've looked that this bit on mine I'm assuming it could be rotten too
I'll get Paul to check before the lump goes back in and get a stainless one if needed OK I'll ask, what's that 4 pot throttle body gizmo picture on your profile for Tim

Tim, do your pipes address the TVR design flaw where the bosses for the coolant temp sensors intude in to path of the coolant?
When I took mine off to fit your hoses on I had a look inside and was horrified! The bosses block about 40% of the pipes internal diameter!
Had mine remade in stainless with the bosses moved out of the flow.
HI Dan
The pipe is available from ACT but maybe you could get a secondhand one from www.douglasvalley.co.uk.
There are two metal pipes but only one of them has the senders in it so it should be easy to describe. It was connected to the other pipes on my car just with jubilee clips. The senders should unscrew but the capillary one on mine broke off and I had to have the gauge repaired.
It was refurbed by www.speedycables.co.uk for around £60.
Hope that helps

Before trying to remove the capilary sender just loosen the nut by a 1/16 of a turn or so and get plenty of Plus Gas or WD40 in there, leave it a few hours, rock the nut back and forth and repeat.
Once the nut is loose then spay more Plus Gas on the bulb and carefully, with a large flat screwdriver apply pressure from inside the tube (Easier once you have the pipe mostly out of the car).
Seemed to work with mine. When you put it back together apply plenty of copper slip or LM Grease to prevent this in future.
