Hi

Does anyone know the part number for the window controller in the door of a Mk1 Tuscan. I am suffering from the common problem of the driver's window not working properly when it's wet.

spray contact spray (4.99 halfrauds) into the door down the gap ether side of the glass, should hit the PCB, its in the middle. leave for 5 mins, and hay presto working windows! repeat every 3 months or so.

(or stip the door and clean PCB and cover in hot melt glue)

Thanks for the reply.

I sprayed it with "contact cleaner" from Halfords last night and will try it when I get in tonight.

If I do need to get into the door, is it easy to remove the door card? How is this done?

in the door pocket there 2 or 3 bolts, un do these and it literally falls off, so be ready to catch it.
