Wiper Blade Arms

Does anyone know where to get a new wiper arm for a 93 chimera. Clever Trevor doesn't seem to have any and my local dealer says he wont be getting any new parts in until mid february!

Get the replacement set from leven! It replaces the whole arm and works much much better than the original system - well worth the money!

Do you mean the interior stalk? I meant the actual wiper arm, I cant see anything like that on levens website. I have seen a few other parts on there I might order though to keep me busy over the the next few weekends!

no the whole wiper arm, go to the latest news section of their website and its 4th from bottom!

The Leven kit is excellent.

Fitted it to my 4.0 and was the first thing I bought when I got the 5.0

anyone got a pic of this kit fitted to a Chim ? - I want to see how much lower they sit ( ie not half-way up the window as the standard ones do )

note the N/S one sits on the screen, not in mid air, so that bit of the screen gets wiped as well as the rest. Also parks level with screen surround.
I did not go for the Leven wiper arms, only the blades which gives me the better washer jet as well. My arms were OK and Leven said theirs are the same as the standard ones.
Nice to have washers/wipers that actually work, not TVR's best bit of design

thanks tvrkeith but I think you have got the later design which sit much flatter to the bottom of the screen than mine as standard(mine's a 98). I asked at HHC if I could change to the later design and thay said no... anyone know different ?

Mine's a 2000 model with the wiper motor under the dash, maybe the wheel boxes are different on yours. I bet Leven would be able to tell you

aha yeah my motor is in the engine bay - wonder what the differnce in the wipers arms is...will talk to Jules et al at Leven later....
