Manifolds

Hi all,
Does anyone out there have a pair of old manifolds for S2 / S3 idling in the corner of the garage, after the fitment of new stainless ones? I'm working on a cosworth 24V conversion, on a budget, so I want to make my own manifolds. It looks possible to modify the standard manifolds of an S2 or S3, but I don't wat to cut up decent manifolds just to find out it doesn't work after all. As the manifolds will be used for testing, it wouldn't mind if they leak. Please let me know if you want to trade your old manifolds for beer tokens.

If this idea works, I'll post the results on the forum.

There are a couple on Ebay at the moment - no bids yet and starting at a fiver - guy says they are for an S3 but then says they came from an Essex engine !!!!

Those are S2 / S3 manifolds (not S3C) off a Cologne engine, not an Essex - they wouldn't fit Essex heads.

I Ronald, i ve got one manifold if you want, it came of my s2 (2.9 cologne engine not essex).

You are welcome to come and collect it from Reading.
