Hi

I've looked at the fuseboard in the footwell and it is starting to crumble. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. Its a 94 400.

Cheers

I have a spare that you can borrow. No I wont sell it; yes I want one back.

I know a chap who over a year ago went to the factory for a replacement and they could only offer a Tuscan fuse box & a list of instructions to change all the connectors. So I would guess you may have to go to a breakers (Douglas Valley & Bell Hill seem most popular) or have a look on the classifieds here I think someone was selling one a while ago.

I replaced mine a couple of years ago, surely it can't be that much of a job just to move a dozen fuses over can it? Oh yes it can. yes

Have a look on it for a part number. The Griffith ones (at least the early cars ) are VW/Audi. You might get one from a VW/Audi souce.

They all have MO264 on them (except the few odd ones as described in the bible) & were made in Ireland IIRC. Web search & VAG dealer + GSF enquiries were all fruitless when I started researching it a few years ago.

If you are electrically competent, you could install an alternative like Dave Blades (dnb) who replaced his with a modular unit sold by VWP. I wanted to rewire different features into my fusebox, I would have been better if I had replaced mine due to the cost of research, a spare fuse box to work out internal config.... and I'm still stuck with the unsuitable packaging & lack of a cover! Hindsight is a PITA.

Hi,

Thanks for all your offers and replies. I have managed to find one which should be winging its way down from Bath.

Cheers
