Rear Discs

Im just wondering if it is possible to bolt the rear disc set up from a sierra Xr4/cosworth or similar onta an S or is there more to it than nut & bolt work, anyone had any experience of it or other rear disc conversions ???????

LeeBee (Lee Boreham) did this and I think was talking about producing a kit for the conversion, but I don't know if he went ahead with it.

I'm in the process of fitting the cosworth brake conversion (same as griffith) front and back
It's not all straight bolt on. 1) the rear axle stub has ABS ribs on them and they faul the large hole in the trailing arm where the hub is bolted to. The ribs have to be milled of.
2) the rear brake line/hose set up has to be altered. With the drums there is one rigid brakeline from trailingarm hinge ending at drum. The line should end in a hose.
3) at the front my setup requires a distancepiece between vertical link and caliper.
It's a bit more labourious than I hoped.

Thanks for the info, cant get on your site though????
Out of interest I'm toying with the front set up off a Golf G60,its a nice Lockheed set up (283mm I think) but I may struggle with wheel clearance, if it works I'll put the info on here.
