Just tried to open up my Maserati 3200 with the remote key to find that absolutely nothing happened. It didn't unlock the doors or switch off the anti theft. So i've just replaced the batteries in the key but still nothing.
Obviously, I could open up the door manualy with the key, however my guess would be the alarm would still active and with no electronic key at my disposal, I'm not sure how I would dectivate it.
Anybody else expreienced this...or anyone with a solution?

A bit of a long shot, but try unlocking the car with the key and then putting the key into the ignition and turning it, but not far enough to fire the engine. Then press the 'disarm' button on the key. I'm no Maser expert so I don't know whether it'll work, but I believe it does with some cars. It may be that your key has simply 'forgotten' the code number and needs to re-load it from your car.

Do you have the red key fob? Have you tried that?
