Hi all.
Just put deposit down on 2006 997S, having previously owend a Boxster S.
Look forward to your help with answers to some 'newbie' owner questions.
First one - is the 997S fully prewired to accept the Porsche cd autochanger?
Thanks in advance.

Congratulations - I'm sure you will love it. Spent most of Saturday driving around in mine, without going anywhere in particular. (Apart from looking for M3s and roundabouts!) When do you collect?

Well after a slight delay I actually picked the car up yesterday.
It's just fabulous!!!
6 month old 997 S with 3k miles, Seal Grey/Black Leather with Sat Nav, Phone module, Bose, Heated Seats, and Sports Exhaust.
Only drove it the 60 miles home yesterday - hoped to be able to go out to play today but it was not to be.
Loking forward to the weather clearing up now.

Impeccable choice of car and spec - sports exhausts are awesome - especially when combined with the Sport Chrono pack - they really roar when given some stick! They also bark when you change up under hard acceleration; which is great as you go past M3`s!! biglaugh

However, you may find that you never turn them off - MPG on the motorway goes from 28mpg to 21 or less but who cares .. keep the Optimax (sorry V-max) coming ... its worth it.

Everybody has their favourite 911 in natural form - whether it be 996, 993, 964, 930 but having driven all of them, this is mine (GT3/GT2 and Turbos aside). Hope you enjoy it.
