Cylinder resleeving
Discussion
Not a specifically ultima related question, but already posted in the technical section (and HUGELY impressed with the technical knowledge in the ultima forum) so I hope nobody minds me re-posting here.
I have a ford 302 engine (GT40 replica) with some pretty serious scores down one of the bores. I've weighed up the pro's and cons for a rebore and have decided to have the cylinder resleeved so I can use standard sized pistons (it's only a standard rebuild)
Can anybody suggest a firm who can do this? I've tried Gosnays engineering in Romford, Essex. But they are so expensive I thought I'd shop around first.
Anywhere in the south east?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Simon
