Rear lights - once more
Discussion
I appreciate that there are a number of threads on this topic - I have read them, but am still a little confused, probably due to my small brain.
In summary, I wish to fit the new style rear lights (not the Afterburners) in place of my fiesta ones, and due to the quotes I've had from garages around London wanted to do it myself and was wondering:
1) Where I can buy kits, - has anyone experience of the Zertec and Peninsula Kits?
2) Can I fit them myself with out too much difficulty and without cutting the car to pieces - and if so what is the process.
It's a Starmist Blue car, so was hoping the dark colour may disguise any small imperfections associated with my DIY.

David I bought a secondhand set of those rear lights and the panels form Peninsula. When I got all the bits together I realised that it was beyond me (glassfibre the panels to the body)so gave up (bought Afterburner kit from Peninsula, under two hours to fit)

Without too much difficulty if you know car body work, but not without cutting the car up, the section where the lights sit has to be changed

You'll see the join unless you do a proper job
