I'm looking for a custom made safe, i.e. a normal safe with some holes cut in it. I have a quote from a company in London called independant safes, but I was wondering if anyoen had any other recommendations?

I take a passing curious interest on safes.

What do you mean by some holes in it - deposit letterboxes or to fit a custom shape ie wall/design/logo (polo mint)

ah - I see.

We are considering making a brick/ reinforced contrete type cupboard with power/vents/tel line. (possibly for alarm sys as well as documents etc)

It will be strong enough for basic theft and fire. The door will have to be chosen carefully and protected. Would anthing like this be an option?
