Hi

I'm looking for recommendations for a scanner that will auto-feed at least 30 pages reliably. It doesn't need to do anything else other than scan those pages in, though if it comes with decent OCR software I'm sure that would be a bonus.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is there a particular brand or model I should be looking at? At the moment I'm guessing HP but guidance would be much appreciated as I've never bought one before.

Cheers,

roadie.

Depends how much use it's going to get, for medium office use how about a kodak i40 or a HP 7650? The kodak's a bit more but can do clever stuff like straightening the picture if the paper goes in wonky.

For cheapness a lot of the cheap multi-function stuff (i.e. fax/printer/scanner all in ones) have a sheet feeder, but its not allways very reliable on the cheap stuff.

Anyway: www.tradescanners.com/

eta, just checked, the i30 is cheaper and non-duplex.

I've never had any problems with fujitsu feed scanners. Such as www.tradescanners.com/fujitsu/fi5120c.php

Huge range, good reliability.

Thanks. Unofrtunately my client asked me to spec one then when I came back with the information he'd gone and bought one and forgotten to mention it.

Customers eh? Who needs 'em?!
