After speaking with Andy at the Factory yesterday regarding a mirror fixing question, I happened to mention my clutch felt rather abrupt. Andy said a number of Ultimas had an interference on the clutch pedal to the clevis that attaches to the master cyl. Apparently there is a slot in the back of the pedal, where the clevis fits that is a touch too short, causing the clevis to bind before the pedal is all the way to the floor. I checked with a mirror and sure enough that was the problem. I had to lengthen the slot in the back of the pedal about 5-10 mm on the top to prevent the bind. Now the clutch has full travel and feels like a normal High Perf car.
