Hi all..

Which battery booster is best?

Any experiences?

I`ve got a Clarke. It`s about 10 years old now, never used it on the Cerb though. It started my mates 996 and even tractors back on the farm.

I've got a Halfords one.

Has worked perfectly on the Cerb and several other cars.

Has a few other handy functions too......

I got that one - but paid £30 for it in a motorfactors somewhere (actually my brother bought it). I havent tried jumping the TVR from it but it was great for running the (small lcd) TV when we lost power for a couple of days.

Looks just what I'm after.

One question though, the advert says power pack 200, but on the photo the sticker on it says power pack 110 - what's the difference?

lazy photgrapher I guess. I got one of these IIRC there is a lower rated one and a higher rated one. I think they organise them by engine size.

Life rules - If in doubt get the big expensive powerful one.

Yeah, the pictue is wrong. The 200 is just a bit bigger....... (and more powerful)
