S type cd changer

I bought a used cd changer for my '99 s type a while back and thought it was about time I installed it.

I am unsure where this is supposed to be fitted, some have said the boot, while others have said the glovebox.

Can anyone help me on this and also what sort of cable is it I am looking for, as I am under the impression they are all pre wired.

I had one from new and the CD changer was in the glove box which is a pain as it takes up too much space. If you get it fitted into the boot so much the better.

Early cars are in the glovebox, later cars are in the LH bin in the boot.
