never heard of any debranding software, why would you want to? resell it as your own make? i know that there is software to debrand as in you phone provider and all..

Do you mean "unlock"?

i.e. you have a phone from Orange or one of the other operators, and it is locked to that operator?

I could be completely wrong, but I assume the OP means getting rid of the network logos that are written in to the phones programming i.e. When my phone starts up / closes I get the the Virgin logo...

vodafone apply a level of branding to Sony Ericsson phones, this involves an operator logo at startup, changing the icons and some of the functionality is changed/removed. In the case of the M600i they remove the ability to decide what you want on the home screen (ie they make it pants) they also prevent you stopping tasks on the taskmanager.

There are a number of services to debrand it, however these all mean the phone has to go away for a few days.

HI have you tryed looking around for a firmware upgrade for it or looking for the original firmware as if you install this it will normally kill any logos etc on the phone. I have found this to work in the past with nokia's although never tryed this with sony erricsons

Good Luck

I once had a S700i that i needed debranding (from Vodaphone because it removed the ability to have mp3s as ringtones). There was someone on EBay offering to do it if you send the phone to them.

Pay a visit to the Symbian forum on the Esato board and you will find two individuals who will offer a turn around time of 3 days for complete debranding and/or unlocking for all SE phones.
