Anyone play this?

I downloaded the demo, and it seems 'okay', I noticed Rob plays it, but wondered if it was worth splashing out for the full version for a PH session?

It was initially free for the first 48 hours so I bagged a copy. It's pretty good for a play-money game, not much they could get wrong with it really. Just hard to get excited about playing it when I can get much more of a thrill playing on the PC for real money.

In that case it's great, perfect way to learn the game. If however you get bitten by the bug and decide you do want to dabble in a bit of real-money play, you're in for a different experience entirely as no-one seems to care about putting play money chips on the line, bit different when it's your own cash, even if it's only for a quid or two in a tournament.

Yea majority of people now just go all in on every hand, still find some well played rooms though...good fun.

Which one do you use Steve? william-hill.co.uk? I've always thought about doing this but never had that much inclination to actually do it.

Again, I don't know whether Fidgits was relating to me or Xaero having played poker. I have, but I haven't bought it.

I play on Pokerstars mainly, only low limit stuff as i'm still learning. Also just started playing on PKR which is the fancy 3d one as the graphics seem to be attracting people who have no idea how to play.

rofl I love the idea of that. I don't claim to be any expert but I've played a fair few games and watched a lot on TV so would know what to do!

I can just imagine people losing a shit load of money on that! biglaugh

I only played it a couple of times on the 360 and didn't think much of it, it just takes that bit more effort to do stuff with the controller compared to a mouse on a PC. Best off downloading a proper internet one and playing with the free money they give you, or your own if you're feeling confident or drunk

bought it in the end, s'alright.

single player stuff is entertaining enough, online is funny - now see what you mean about 'all in', some guys doing it every hand!

Played it round my friends house (that make me sound like im 15!) and now ordered a copy for myself from PLAY, really enjoyed it, not playing for money more pride, although it might of been a bit better if you played for achievment points!?

Dont worry about the guys going all in after seeing their 2 cards, they soon bust out leaving the serious players.
