Lambo Manch delivered my car back to me today. First impressions of the new engine is that its quieter than the old one??? Only did about 35 miles in it today (got it MOT'd no problems thankfully) but I'd forgotten peoples reactions to the Car. Kids shouting and pointing in the street and other drivers rubber necking.
The only down side is now I've got to run it in for 1,000 miles before I can explore its new potential.

A big thanks to all the guys at Lambo manch for their help on this.

Andy.

I thought that the engines were pre-run at the factory so there was no need to do this
I can certainly tell you that when I was at the factory the test drivers were "redlining" the cars straight off the production line

Just a guess here, but I think this one is down to the owner's intials.

Not in the case of the guy I know who has a Murci with an AC plate - in his case I think it's a plate he used to have on his AC Cobra which I presume must be off the road.

Surely you dont have to run it in, ok so dont go redlining it all day but im sure you can give it the beans if you want.
If it breaks you'll get another one
