How to i buy commodities?

I'm interested in buying some Commodities, as a private investor whats the best method to purchase them? and how much will it cost me?

Any purchasing website you can recommend?

Ideally i would like to choose the Commodities myself therefore not looking for an investment fund. I have a iii.co.uk share dealing account, can i purchase through there?

As you can tell I'm new to this do you get a certificate like shares to prove your holdings?
