Lotus Esprit World: Performance Chip Guide

I've been testing and reviewing some Esprit Performance Chips over the past week or two. I've already put a 4 cyl. install guide on the site and have now followed it up with an Information & Review page.

This covers all chips available for both 4cyl. and V8 (12 different chips) with what each chip does, some generally info and reviews of two of the chips I've tested. I will be testing more later and compiling reviews from owners already running them.

Wow thanks for the great reviews Kato.. maybe you can take up a collection and buy some dyno time to get some hard numbers on the chips. I'll personally donate $50 toward the cause. I was considering the s4s high torque chip but I had heard from another owner that it made the car rather 'unstreetable' which is what I'm kinda hearing from your review. As always keep up the great work!

People seem to be misunderstanding my fishtailing story. I was abusing the power on purpose. I'm sure we've all done that before. My only concern would be lack of respect in the wet.

This is the chip I would purchase, so don't be scared off by my antics. Forgot to mention also that my rears are almost bald!

Will be testing #5 soon. 330bhp with around 11% more torque, so a little less fishtailing for that idiot kato.
