ALARM IMMOBILISER

I have had two griffiths over the years and my latest suffers from the same problem as the first in that sometimes the immobiliser is out of step with the alarm resulting in me being unable to start it. Normally when I leave it for 20 minutes it sorts itself out and I can use the immobiliser key to start it. However this morning I left it as usually for 20 minutes ... nothing ... then another 25 minutes and nothing ... so I gave up and took the other car. Does anyone know if there is a better trick to it rather than waiting 20 minutes or so and also why have I had the problem this morning! Jon

Disconnect the battery to reset (earth lead only) and be ready with the blipper as it will arm itself on reconnecting.
Failing that call Carl Baker (numbers programmed in mobile).
Or that's my game plan.

Spot on FFG. Make sure the lead is off for 30 seconds or so. On reconnection of the battery, the alarm will go into it's armed state and should then talk to the fob.

I took off the earth for 30 secs plus and reconnected. It still hasn't worked. Tried it twice. I'm convinced its the immobiliser not talking to the alarm. When I turn the ignition either after turning off the alarm by the fob or leaving it off and using teh immobiliser stick to turn the immoboliser off the ignition makes a noise like its being stopped before the fuel pump is primed. Any ideas? I have also tried using the immobiliser stick when the keys are in and the ignition key in and turned. help!!
