Things attached to that dash?

Peeps, has anyone applied a sticky pad to the dash moulding and got it off clean?

I want to affix a sticky pad for an accessory to the area near the boost gauge but am keen to know whether it'll come of clean or pull the Black paint off with it!

I applied a velcro sticky for the Road Angel...before i founnd out it was a painted dash!!!
Been to scared to remove it.

There was a sticky pad on mine when I got it - I just warmed it lightly with a hot air gun and gently peeled it off. Then I used some of that sticky stuff remover (can't remember what it's called) worked a treat. Looked as good as new - pity about the rest of the car now though!!

Rob...can't you stick it to the silver part? I'm sure you'll have no issues with that.

I thought "Peeps" was what happened when I sounded the horn on my Noble. That's what it sounds like anyway.
