How do you make a disc that if all goes pair shaped i can re-load everything back on to my laptop.
I am a bit of a numpty when computers are concerned and wondered if it is possible to copy everything that is on my computer to a dvd, XP and all programs etc (not sure if it's called a bootable disc or not) so that i could put it in the computer and it re-loads everything back on.
There was once a program that was on computer that should have done that but that has disappeared, i have got Nero and it says something about a bootable something but don't know if that's what i need.

You could make a custom install cd using bart pe (goggle it for full details).
If you're not too technical, get a copy of ghost 10 and make an image of your drive (burn onto dvd, or store on separate hard drive).
If all goes pair shaped, boot off the ghost 10 cd, and then reload image.
