adjustable shocks
Discussion
Had the wedge a month now and sorted a few probs. Today I stopped the wedge hopping down the road by winding back on the rebound adjusters? on the bottom of the Avo rear shocks. Problem is, they don't seem to have a "definite" unwound point though. Have unwound both sides a good 30 turns and haven't seemed to meet a "start point". Car now drives much, much better but puzzled at the adjusters. Do they get to the softest point and then you can turn anti-clockwise for ever and it just "ratchets" on that point?
Thanks

I should know because I've got AVO's on the back of mine - from memory there are 20 - 25 positions, and I think there is a positive stop at each end of the range. I found they seize fairly easily (the knurled adjuster) so loads of releasing fluid is usually needed.
7.
Sprayed them with tons of plus gas and attacked them and the spring seat adjustable platform threads with a wire brush. They came free relatively easy. I know the Spax I had on my previous Westfield ratcheted once they got to the softest setting, so maybe these are the same. Has seriously transformed the car! Next outlay is to change all the hoses in the engine bay as they are looking a bit tired (especially the power steering pumpones). Am saving up for Megasquirt as well as there is no way the 4.6 lump is throwing out anywhere near its capability yet
