Photography beginner - photo critique please

Given the arrival of my little son I've started taking loads of photo's. I wonder if I could ask the PH Photography collective for critique and advice on my photo which is one of my favourites (biased?! Duh, maybe! )

Very sweet!

I think the focus is just slightly off. It will have great impact if his eyes were bang on focus. (His top seems to sharper). And the colour seems just a bit off to me on my monitor. Maybe a touch of warming up would help?

I'm not too sure about the reflections in the eyes too...looks a touch odd.
