Had a very unusual chat in a london hotel last week with a chap named Nelson King. We were chatting about TVR and what the possible future was going to be. To cut this very short he said he would buy TVR. I am very sceptical but thought it was worth sharing as you may be able to help. A bit of background to the man, he is a Chairman/Director of British Canadian Mines (who have recently found a 2 billion pound copper mine?), lives in both canada and Monte Carlo, knows Peter Wheeler and Bernie F1, used to be a director of Dagenham Ford (60's/70's) and is in the F.I.M.E! Is this chap for real or am i being very gullible and being strung along? The chap is still in the hotel i am staying in and he would like to take things further! Help needed please! Does anyone know this man??

Do you think he would buy it as a toy, or because he understands the industry and knows how it can be turned into a viable business? Because we've already had somebody try the first one, haven't we? I would have thought that if he was really in a position to buy the company and make it work, he would already know far more than you or I about how to go about buying it.
Thanks for all the help people but is there an address, phone or email address for the receivers or maybe even a contact name at PKF? Nelson is interested in obtaining balance sheets and shareholder details, etc. He was suggesting that he would own 2/3rds of the company with the remainder owned by the employees.
