Full Respray Costs...???

Any ballpark ideas how much a full Chim respray would cost [in a new different colour] ??

Pitfalls?
Reccomendations?
Etc?

From another very recent thread (do a search - you'll find it) about £3k to £5k for a top-notch job (windows removed etc) to £1 to £2k for a "lesser" job apparently.

Also, sanding it down yourself can reduce the cost a bit.

There's no need to remove the windows, because there's no paint around the windows. Removing screen rubbers is a good idea because when replaced they hide the 'edge' of the paint - but the glass can stay in. For a top job, doors, bonnet, boot need to come off. The end result is all dependent on the preparation. Best bet is to go with someone recommended who's done TVRs before - but having said that, any competent honest bodyshop should be able to do a good job. I had my Griff done at Sportmotive - www.sportmotive.com - and the result is fabulous.
