I have just brought a westfield SEIW , i was looking to put some rear wing protectors on to stop stone chips. I have spoken to Westfield and they only sell carbon fibre effect or aluninum type ,but i was after black ones to match the of the car.

Can anyone help me and tell me where i could buy some black ones

Don't know of any black ones, but you could either get the aluminium one anodised, or powder coated.

Alternatively, get some black fablon (sticky back plastic) and cut to shape with a razor blade. Costs next to nohing and is easily replaceable when it gets marked.

The problem with painted or anodised aluminium is that as it gets peppered with road grit, flicks of the underlying metal will show through.

I'll second Sam_68 and suggest black plastic Fablon.

I had a small star crack on my back arch ( before replacable arches )and the Fablon treatment did the trick to conceal it. Its also done teh job to protect the daily peppering from grit with no problem. I think the same pieces have been on the car for the last 6 years at least.

Use a piece of cardboard to make a template so that you can reverse it and get a symmetrical piece for the other wing, and don't be tempted to go all the way down to the bottom of the arch as the grp turns under and you will not get the fablon to follow the curve.

Another plus is that the black plastic lies quite flat, no unsightly rivets.
