I'd just like to say that I can heartily recommend the services of MotoringLawyers.com

I received very unfair treatment from a traffic officer and felt that I should not accept his arrogant, ignorant and prejudice opinion.

They defended me in court, I won, - and I have just received the cheque back for all my costs.

Mike Lodge, and his legal secretary Hilary all did a sterling job. Check them out on:
www.motoringlawyers.com/

For once, a good system that works for us, rather than them!

Kind regards,

Joel K

And how much was his bill?

Just curious over how much you were gambling...

I really think you need to look up the correct definition of gambling.
Defending yourself against this type of abuse is a right that every individual has.
It is a calculated risk: the odds of the risk are determined by the integrity of your defence and the incompetence of the CPS and their witnesses.
I find on most occasions the odds are stacked in favour of the accused providing the defence is good.

Total cost was £2,350 (inc vat).

They say they have about a 97% success rate too!

Did you get the £2350 Solicitors bill back as well in the costs awarded to you?

Have just dropped them a line myself... Seem clued up (I tried another lot who didn't). Considering instructing them if the advice seems correct.

Thanks for the tip off!

The summary details of the case are :

1. I was travelling with partner, on quiet motorway early evening in a Ferrari 550 Maranello.
2. Approach marked traffic police (TP) car within speed limits and slowly overtake.
3. Keeping his presence in mind, I continue to make slow and steady progress.
4. Enter into a 50 mph section where I drop down accordingly.
5. Still aware of TPs presence I keep it nailed exactly on 50.
6. I am undertaken by one car who is driving at approx 75
7. Then overtaken by two cars, one guy screaming down a phone doing about 95mph.
8. My wife and I both comment that he must be stupid, because there is a marked police car trailing us.
9. We exit motorway, see flashing lights behind us – and (to our alarm) I get a tug.
10. Officer says that he thinks I was speeding, according to his Vascar.
11. I point out that I knew of his presence and was keeping it exactly to the limits, I gave him a detailed description of each of the vehicles which either over took me or undertook me, inc their estimated speeds, locations, etc.
12. TP says “look pal, if you want to argue with me, you can do it in court”.
13. I really felt victimised for driving a nice car. His attention was focussed soley on me – and that despite driving slower than the surrounding traffic and observing the limits, he still felt the need to try and impose his weight on me.
14. I also think what a royal WANXER – and take him up on his offer.
15. Motoring Lawyers handled everything, told me what to do and I never had to make a single court appearance either.
16. 12 months later, case is throw out primarily because TP cannot define exact locations where the vascar was used (ie: in or out of the stretch 50 limit area).

Job as they say, is a Good un.

Well, I'm glad you got off the speeding accusation, but what about DWDCA for being in lane 2 when lane 1 was obviously available .....nono

Like you'd be in a position to say whether it was DWDCA or not.....

Give the guy a break.

Actually, he didn't get a break. He successfully defended himself against an allegation of exceeding the speed limit. This appears, largely, due to the lack of attention to detail by the officer in question.
