There is no better sound then the roar of the engine though the little french streets

a mp3 cd full of the classics including "Born To Be Wild", "Highway to Hell", and "heartbreaker", as well as a large selection of Jimi Hendrix, a big helping of james Brown, a nice selection of Reggae, some Gill Scott Heron, loads more funk, and some classic Pete Rock/Lords of the Underground style proper hip hop.....
Is gonna be a toughie to beat this for next years selection!

why thank you kind sir! I have a feeling this years one is going to be fairly similar, however with the addition of an early hardcore and jungle selection in there too, thinking this will be sweet for the overtaking sections!

Maybe you could find room for the soundtrack to the 1981 flim (the cannonball run 1) by ray stevens great for overtaking

Naturally, and i forgot a selection of tracks from the top gun soundtrack.....
Last year my co-pilot ensured we had the right track for the right moment too!
so how many of said cd's should i make up then

Well, this would have to be one of my favourite subjects. There is a long-standing unspoken competition between me and the other members of my Le Mans group to create the best driving CD!
I tend to base mine around 80s/90s "Cock Rock", and my 2007 CD will contain some (if not all) of the following:
Van Halen - Jump
Boston - More Than A Feeling
Whitesnake - Here I Go Again
Def Leppard - Armageddon It
The Who - Pinball Wizard
G'n'R - Sweet Child
Rainbow - Since You've Been Gone
ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin'
Kiss - Crazy Nights
I defy anyone to resist the latent urge to wind down their window and cruise, elbow atop its sill whilst listening to this selection!

deep purple - mistreated
whitesnake - fool for your lovin
led zep - imigrant somg

and no journey is complete without a bit of 'Figaro, Figaro, tickle my tw*T, tra la la la la laaarrrr....tickle myyyyyyyyyyy twwwwwww******T.
Plus about another 59.99Gig of howling blues, rock , and plenty of prog from the Creative Jukebox Zen,
