Help please - hotel accommodation?
Discussion
We've just realised that somehow we've not booked enough accommodation for our group!
Does anyone know of any hotels, houses, b&b's within reasonable distance of Le Mans that we could investigate?
Obviously tried everything Google has to offer, but no joy. We're after 3 rooms, or any configuration that will accommodate 6 people. Camping is not an option due to health issues.
Any help hugely appreciated!! Thanks in anticipation.

Always an option of getting one of those motorhomes delivered to a campsite and set-up for you. I've read somewhere that they're on offer actually behind the pits area in some special area. Proper official LM ACO type things, bit of a search should find them.
You can't get closer than the pits in the comfort of a 6 berth now can you?

Frankly accomodation is available if you look. Jaguar asked me to find 15 rooms for people they are flying in in an old Dakota aircraft and also a chateau for the owners of D types who are coming for the 50th anniversary of the last D type win and it took all of an hour or two to fix it. I have friends with spare rooms for B&B at Mulsanne, gites at Louplande and loads of places where I can find accomodation if people need. I live 4 miles from Mulsanne so please contact me if you haven't got fixed up and need help. Incidentally, I've already booked a complete hotel for the Classic in 2008 for one english car club!
Thank you very much for further suggestions - and also to the people who emailed me directly. The motorhomes look ideal but I wonder what the cost would be to park our three cars!!
There is indeed a lot of accommodation available, however, the difficulty is finding something within reasonable distance but without paying too much. We are on a very very tight budget this year. Thankfully though we are now sorted, we're booked into a real cheap place in Laval - a bit further away than we'd have liked, but a compromise we can live with!!
Thanks again. Hugely looking forward to it now!!

Good news! Now, if you're taking the Mustang over can I suggest Arnage corner on Friday about 10am? Just nudge your way in amongst all the Corvettes as I'm sure I'll not be the only one wanting to have a drool over the 'stang.
Glad to see you have taste!
Unfortunately we're not getting there until later on Friday. I reckon we'll be at Arnage around 6pm - straight from the ferry port.
I'm taking the Mustang, my boyfriend will be in his '84 Vette. We're sort of travelling with another '67 Mustang and he should be there early Friday so I'll tell him to stop by!
