please could anyone tell me about any lanes or suitable wasteland near shrewsbury (shrops)for testing any mods etc. the local club is brilliant, but sometimes i just want to have a half hour playing, rather than the full on day out.

In fact, is there anywhere online where you can find local green lanes, Pa has a Def' 90 that we need to go out and play in but don't want a full day's play..

I think that your local council will provide info on Byways Open to All Traffic (BOATS) - I live in Hampshire and they have a website that shows the routes. I think that there's also a group called GLASS who might be able to help.... www.glass-uk.org

As suggested previously, speak to your local GLASS area rep (have a look at the website whose url has already been posted).

Unfortunately the antis have enough ammunition and have already curtailed the number of unsurfaced rights of way available to motorised users (both 2 and 4 wheel); please don't give them more ammunition by behaving irresponsibly or in a "manner likely to attract attention" on unsurfaced routes. If in doubt, have a look at the code of conduct on the GLASS website.

My local group (Marches GLASS) has a regular laning trip most weekends and weekdays (usually Thursday). If you are interested in coming along PM me.
