Surely it is a 'later car'

I dont understand why this is described as having a headlight conversion and looking like a much later car....?!
It is a 2000 lightweight with the original pods but looking like a 2000 lightweight with original pods. Unless I am mistaken!?!?! Why would a 'TVR dealer' not know his TVRs?

perhaps the owner converted the original headlights to lightweight pods, I'm going to do the same thing, as I like it better than the faired in look - so chances are its not a lightweight ?

It has got non-blended pods. So I Cant see why it claims to look like a later car.

Looking at the exterior piller uprights on the interior picture.... it looks like they are covers? I don't think my lightweigth looks like that? Gonna have to go and have a look!

Sorry, you're right. In the thumbnails they look blended to me, but the full image reveals the truth.

That chap gets through quite a lot of TVRs and from what Ive seen over the last few years does occasionally make the odd wild comment that makes little sense....

Thats how they came from the factory in 00/01

The differences are some lighter panels (doors and bonnet?).
The roof line is slightly different. The view through the screen is better. It will (generally) have different front lights (pods are blended tuscan esque) and the rear 'tank' lights. It will have tuscan seats (the ones that break). slightly different style rear seats. It will have body coloured mouldings on the A posts (?).
The 4.2 lightweights still had the old style MG lights as did the S6 lightweights.

its a 03 cerb with the seats you've described but i wouldn't know about the other stuff

It looks like a lightweight (ie has all the stuff I mentioned). Is it a 4.5 ?

True but not sure that the later 4.2 and S6 had the lighterweight panels.
