Just about to buy myself a new macBook (going to install Windoze on it via BootCamp), so I'm after some game recomendations to while away train journeys and while the missus is watching reality TV.

I really like the C&C type games, so I hear Rome Total War is good. Problem is the macBook only has an Intel 930 graphics adapter, so won't run anything too graphics intensive.

Any recomendations for windows/mac?

The earlier games in the Total War series could run on more basic computers and they are still very good.

Why not start at the begining with Shogun:Total War

Considering the last generation of MBP will run HL2 @ native and do 40 - 50 fps... pre-order C&C3 and Supreme Commander.

I installed Rome on my wifes' laptop, with the same GPU as yours and it works fine!
