My car is approaching one year old in March and I will be due a 12k service fairly soon. Spoke to the dealers where I bought it (Castles) and was told to expect to pay in the region of £1200. Is this the going rate or does anyone know where I can get it done for less? Must be approved as I don't want to affect my warranty. LOL

Mine was just shy of a grand, although I paid £800 as my dealer gave me a £200 voucher.

He's a very very nice man. yes

Shop around. Offord do 12k for £490?
I am using APM down south for similar price (excluding fixing some bits - see my post on 'first service').
Will let you know what I find.

Take the opprtunity to go for a nice drive & take it to Torque RVT in Middlewich Cheshire. As numerous people on here will testify Ian is superb & well worth the journey (plus at less than £400 for major service he is well priced too) You could have a night out in Manchester & a stay in a hotel & still save money!!

Yep
I do suspension clinics at Ians every couple of weeks for a couple of days and quite often take cars up with me because it saves the customers so much money, he may be as mad as a hatter but boy does he know his stuff.
BTW just in case you didn't know it, he was foreman at a main dealers so is fully TVR and Lotus trained.
