Yes or No? Sticky or Screwy? Flakey or Reliable? Easy or Hard? Quick or Slow?

Questions I have... answers I seek. Help you will?

I have it hiding my speaker cable to the ceiling. Got it from B&Q, really easy to put up and quick. Best if used on a smooth surface though.

SELF ADHESIVE TRUNKING

Yes or No?

This question is existential in it's nature.

does it exist? yes if you belive it to, otherwise no.

Sticky or Screwy?

I belive it's sticky

Flakey or Reliable?

Flakey, eventually the ravages of time will take their toll and the plastic will degrade to the point where the surface will start to wear off.

Easy or Hard?

Easy every time for me, but nothing worth having is easy according to people who have more then me.

Quick or Slow?

Quick if you're fast.

Your answer is lighthearted in nature, but like the wine from a lesser known vineyard its depth grows with a second appreciation. The truth you speak, yes indeed.

Never used it but anything that sticks will eventually loose the stickyness..

Wouldn't trust it myself

It works.... The surface is important as it won't stick to loose/flaky paint. The best solution is fastfix secured with screws/rawlplugs about every metre. You can stick it to the wall first and then just drill/plug straight through.

Much easier to fit on your own than the regular stuff yes

It's been around for eons.
First used it in the 80's when given a sample.
Useful in domestic situations.
Follow Blairout's idea if the wall is not "sound"

Oh no, with heavy heart and ponderous thought I contemplated your dilema

Being a little more helpful, it's quick easy and cheap, it looks a bit shit and will lift off the wall taking the paint with it after a year or so.

Is it domestic or commercial?
How much do you want to put through it?
do you need to rewire?

if it's domestic and you know exactly what you want then borrow a router and cut a small groove in the plaster, stick the cable in, replaster, repaint. I think trunking is ugly and horrible unless done properly.
